An unique moment in the holy land. Very well located in the village of Sainte-Catherine far from the hotels under construction, this camp is the best place to enjoy a Bedouin experience in the mountains. The staff (family) is very welcoming and will provide everything you need. They will organize for you any experience you wish to discover the culture in Sinai mountain. Good food. Warm and trustful people.

Mohammed and his family were very welcoming and friendly. I recommend exploring local hikes with a guide.

The bed are not comfortable and the covers don't look clean. It can get better with more attention to details.

I loved the food and the staff. Mohamed and Salah the brothers in charge were so kind and operate the camp with honor and direction. The firepit and dining hall let me experience environments livelier than the hostels I’ve been in. The fire brings people together in the cold and the tea was amazing. Taxi to the monastery and mountain are available. Salah treated me like family and always made sure I enjoyed myself. Sha’ban was my mountain guide and taught me about the history of the Gebeliya tribe while hiking. Great staff! Cool animals around the property are a plus.

I’d love if there were a map of places in saint catherine available. I spent my first day exploring and looking for a certain place and spent lots of time looking for one place. The location of the camp is deep in the town and 45 minutes walk from the monastery and mountain trails so definitely something to keep in mind.
