Altitude Madarao

Jess and Cass were excellent hosts and helped us get around. The morning breakfast was great too and the location to ski field.

A walk each night to the restaurant area.

We liked our family room, it was plenty of space for our family of four. it was a warm and cozy lodge where you could hang out by the fire and have a snack or play a game or head down to the basement and play some wii. Breakfast was a new lovely surprise every day all of which were delicious, though also had tasty cereal, toast or yoghurt options. Jessie and Cassie are lovely managers, making sure all guests are comfortable and even helping us get where we needed to go. This helped to negate the small trek to restaurants (just over a km - which seems long sometimes after a day of skiing). We were there during a blizzard that got over a metre of snow in 24 hours and we felt warm and safe. Jessie, Cassie and later Rachel all helped make our stay perfect. My 11 yr old insisted I write this review as he loved the place so much!

Was a little farther out than most places but as mentioned above they will help drop you off when they can. only 50m to a place you can start skiing so you can’t beat that.

Jessie and Cassie and later Rachel we’re all wonderful. just wrote a long review earlier as we extended our booking we enjoyed it so much, but felt it worth repeating that the managers made the stay so lovely and warm.

Jesse and Cassie made the entire trip. They made us feel like friends rather than customers and were super helpful with solving all our problems. It’s unbelievable to think they’re running just between the two of them, yet the service is the best! someone give them a raise!

Great experience at Altitude - the staff (Jesse and Cass) were wonderful, it was a highlight of my trip to Japan. Thanks guys!
