Villa Dalmatia Apartments

-Close proximity to a gorgeous beach -Appartment had everything we needed -Small supermarket nearby, bigger one approximately 20 minutes away by foot, lots of eating options in Brela (10 minutes away by foot, one restaurant in close proximity) -Overall relatively clean but....

-...the smashed mosquitos on the wall were not so great -the mattresses were a little worn out - unusual construction of the apartment, the main room had a proper balcony door made of glass leading to the kitchen. The kitchen itself had only a wooden construction type of door leading to the balcony, which didn't keep the mosquitos out unless completely closed. When closed there was no light in the kitchen and main room, which felt a little depressing.

Very nice apartment, comfortable, beautiful location. The host is very friendly. I really recommend it!

Location and cleanliness

Shower cabin leaking, bathroom doors not able to close from the humidity and making huge noise, pillows completely flat, bad making noise, soap dosage broke on the first artempt to use. When I spoke to the wife of the owner, she was looking at me confused at why am I telling her all this, then she vawed her had and said: " ah, you are in the old appartment." There was no price differece nor change in cathegory of the apt. Also, we saw other guests getting present on a check out (it looked like a bottle of olive oil )but we did not. Probably didn't deserve it as I pointed out the problems. Not the best practice to have different standards for different guests. I was really disappointed with the approach. Location is probably what sells these apartments.

Located outside of the center of Brela, so it's quiet and not crowded, keep in mind that there are not many restaurants/cafes nearby, but we liked it. A small supermarket is about 10 min walk away. A lovely small beach is just 5 min walk down, and you can walk along the promenade with pine trees in both directions. There is a beautiful sea view from the balcony. We loved staying there!

To get to the bus stop to go to other cities (Brela Magistrala), you need to walk about 30-40 minutes uphill.

Everything was good as expected from previous reviews. Every detail on its place. Very peaceful place with comfortable bed, good sleep. There is nothing to complain.

Although it include free parking, it was very hard to park the car. You have to be very skilled driver to park the car. But this is thing that owner couldn't have influence.
