FC Hostel-Ruifang Station

Nice hostel in a great location. Clean washrooms and nice private pods. Unfortunately because of the other people staying there (and their obnoxiously loud snoring) we had awful sleeps. But this isn't the hostel's fault. Not much of a common area when we were there but it looked like they were doing some renovations on the upper floor so should be done soon!

A very nice hostel in a lovely small town. I'm happy I stayed here and took the short bus trip to juifen and shufen rather than staying in tourist packed juifen. Nice owner, good beds, privacy curtains, free hot and cold water.

Super close to the train station and the local food court.

Upstairs and without an elevator. When I woke up in the middle of the night there was a massive spider on the floor. Mattresses could use an update

Great location. Easy to get to major attractions.

Bathrooms dirty. No staff ever. Female dorm fine for me, but if you were really looking for separation this wouldn’t be great as it is a few beds within the mixed dorm separated by a door, you still need to walk through mixed dorm to use bathroom, exit, etc.

This is a no frill hostel but with all the basic amenities (including hair dryer and drinking water supply). The host took effort to communicate via WhatsApp for arrival info. Lots of food options along the main road, leading to Ruifang Foodcourt, also literally like 2 min walk from the train station.

The mattress is not very comfortable, and there was a need to put on the bedsheet on our own (not a big deal though).

Host is great and helpful. Close to station middle of town everything you need around..

No coming facilities

Location is close to food, transportation and sightings in Northeast of Taipei. I did the entire hikes along the coastal line from keelung port to bitou cape and also few interesting trails in the area.
