Fairfield Inn Tuscaloosa

Convenient location and friendly staff.

The property has not been well-kept. The door handle to the bathroom was broken, the carpet (albeit new looking)was tattered. The room was damp and smelled.

Clean

We came in after some really bad weather producing tornadoes. Kianna (sorry about the spelling) checked us in and she was amazing! She told us that she had been there since 7 am (it was almost 7 pm when we got there) and the second shift had not shown up. Instead of being in a bad mood she was extremely nice. She even had to be back in the morning at 7! Thank you for making our stay pleasant!

The bed and the pillow was very uncomfortable

There were no charging ports in the room.

Great stay. We Have been here many times!

Reserved room w/one king and 1 sofa bed. They admitted not looking at first name on reservation and gave our room to someone else. Had to hv a janky roll away bed brought in. Room was right by ice machine, pool, and elevators. People talking loud on patio right by our window until almost 2:00 a.m. Called front desk. Loud late next night also w people in the hallway. Two nights w very little sleep. Tried to sleep during the day, but loud as hell all day. In addition, sheets and mattress pad didn’t fit the bed, so kept slipping off top of bed both sides. Wanted to use the pool, but smelled no chlorine and saw too much mold in the room. No o.j. at breakfast.The lady said she forgot to thaw out. No coffee in afternoon at coffee station, so not sure why it was all set up. Check out was at 12:00 on Sunday, and someone from housekeeping busted right in on us at 11:40! What has happened to Marriott properties? What a shame.
