The proprietor is genuinely welcoming and helpful. The bedroom and bathroom were pleasant and spotless. This is a nicely furnished 19th-century home that has been renovated and refreshed. Breakfast was a treat. Minor negatives: the spacious covered porch is nice but a little noisy (even though it is completely hidden from the highway behind a stand of trees), and the climate control is central, so not adjustable in the room. But we were comfortable and happy with our stay.

Cute property. It was clean and easy to access

Decor was a bit worn/dated. Could have used a full mirror. Breakfast was mediocre. Mini chopped fruit & yogurt, eggs, frozen sausage links (asked for no sausage), a couple of tater tots, bland waffle & sad coffee. Eggs were best part - but not seasoned. Mini paper cup in bathroom - maybe for mouthwash?

Beautiful historic home. Friendly host, delicious breakfast, comfortable room. Short drive to restaurants and beach. We will definitely stay there next time we are in South Haven!
