Clean. Karen was very welcoming and polite. She obviously works hard.

Had to book an hotel with a twin room that would accommodate our dogs which is not ideal compared to a double room. However when we got to the hotel found that our room was two single rooms separated by the bathroom! Not only were we not in the same bed…we couldn’t sleep in the same room! Didn’t say anything at the time because the hotel said ‘No Vacancies’ and there was only five rooms anyway so presumed a room change would not be possible. This did spoil our stay really until one of our dogs became ill. She collapsed and had to be carried back to the hotel. In our upset and distress we didn’t latch the front door…unbeknown to us at the time…but the next morning the male owner approached us saying he had seen us on CCTV carrying our dog and it was definitely us that had not locked it. He spoke to my partner in a very condescending manner, a bit like a three year old being told off and despite seeing our dog unwell the evening before..never asked how she was. Not a good Host and needs to take lessons from his wife on customer relations.

Breakfast was better than expected. The location of our accomodation could not have been better. We were just a short walk from Bridlington harbour and town one way and Sewerby hall the other way. The beach was just across the road.

We were a bit dissapointed to have to leave. Apart from that, we couldn,t fault the establishment.

only one cup of tea at breakfast. I would prefer a small teapot and a jug of milk, which I’m sure wouldn’t increase their costs.
