HI New Orleans Hostel

The kitchen facilities are excellent, and there is a nice collection of books along with a snooker table. Overall, it is a great place to stay, especially if you are travelling alone. The staff is very helpful—I interacted with Rachel and Kaira, and they were very supportive throughout my stay. I even spent my birthday there, which made the experience more memorable. In terms of location, it is very convenient, with easy access to major areas and landmarks in New Orleans.

The rooms are not properly ventilated, which is creating discomfort. Additionally, some residents do not maintain good personal hygiene. I am facing a similar issue in the 6- shared dormitory—one person’s shoes produce a very strong odor, and despite the inconvenience, he does not seem concerned about it. I have already asked the staff to clean the room, but the problem recurs as soon as this person returns. I believe this issue can be resolved if proper ventilation is ensured or a designated space is provided outside the rooms for shoes and socks.

How smooth everything was and mostly importantly how clean and comfortable it was.
