It is a well-restored, charming 150-year-old complex of houses. The staff is friendly, helpful, and professional. They helped us hire a minibus to take us on a sightseeing tour.

A gorgeous hotel, built from a collection of old houses in one of the ancient villages along the Yulong river. It's completely charming, quirky and perfect for exploring Yangshou. The restaurant serves well priced, generous portions of local and western food and the breakfast choices were great too. They have bike hire on the property, perfect for exploring the river bank and stunning scenery, and the staff speak good English and are keen to recommend things to do in the area We loved our stay here and would definitely recommend, especially if you want a more authentic experience.

Our stay at Yangshuo Secret Garden was simply unforgettable. Nestled just outside the center of Yangshuo, this charming B&B is a beautifully restored traditional property, built with stone and wood, which gives it a truly authentic and peaceful atmosphere. Surrounded by picturesque canals and lush greenery, it’s the perfect base for exploring the region. The guesthouse offers bicycle rentals, which we highly recommend—riding through the nearby villages and along the canals was a highlight of our trip. One of the best experiences we had was the cooking class offered by the property. It was fun, informative, and delicious—a must-do! There are also plenty of other activities to choose from, like bamboo rafting and exploring the countryside. The owners were incredibly helpful, even assisting us with booking tickets for the Impression Liu Sanjie light show from Italy, before our arrival. The onsite restaurant is another big plus: they serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with both local and Western options available. Everything we tried was fresh and flavorful. If you’re looking for a quiet, authentic, and activity-filled stay in Yangshuo, Yangshuo Secret Garden is the perfect place.

Very beautiful hotell and surroundings! Located a bit outside Yangshuo in a very quiet area. You need to take a taxi to get there, but it's absolutely worth it.

WiFi only worked next to reception / restaurant but to be honest it was nice to switch off from social media.

This is a very special hotel - a whole series of buildings built around courtyards and paths full of plants. The indoor and outdoor restaurant was a lovely place to eat. The dinner was very good. We chose vegetarian local dishes which seemed like a contemporary take on traditional cooking and were delicious. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

A small inside another small village; pebble stone alleys, a cat that stare at you, all surrounded by the catch Guangxi hills. A mágic stay in the countryard, along from the Yangshuo mess, but connected by Tuk Tuk, bycicles or electric motorbikes at downtown. The warm welcome of the sweet reception ladies, the enormous, rustical rooms, the grey stone, the flowers spread everywhere will let you stay like in your own house. Great experience at a stunning low price
