Great location, expensive for the quality of the room

Earlier this month, I had the great pleasure in staying in one of Montreal's most nicest hotels. The hotel is very centrally located in the heart of the Gay Village (just a couple of blocks away from rue Sainte-Catherine) so very accessible to all the stores, restaurants, and shops. The surrounding neighborhood is absolutely pretty, one would say a little village within a city. The manager Minh, whom I personally met, was awesome! She was extremely nice and welcoming (she made me feel at home) I had room #21 which was a fantastic room with a private bathroom, balcony facing boulevard René Lévesque, and a small kitchen (with sink and fridge). The room was very clean, very welcoming and the bed was very comfortable. They have a communal kitchen, as well as a sharing bathroom (for those who opt to reserve a room with no private bathroom) I like that fact that they had brochures and maps out on tables for guests to take for their stay in Montreal. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone who seeks to stay in a non expensive but yet very cozy and non pretentious hotel. I work in tourism, and found this place a true gem amongst hotels in Montreal. I definitely recommend this hotel to all my friends (I have already mentioned it on my Facebook) I am planning on another trip next month or in September and I am DEFINITELY coming back to this hotel for my stay.

Good response to the resident's request. Not very quiet though.

The hotel is clean and the room well maintained: Small Fridge, Small Microwave oven, Shower is functional good stream of hot water. The ensemble is very rustic and there is no TV .

I highly recommend hotel mini to anyone looking for a reasonable place to stay in Montreal! Walking distance to metro and gay viallge! Staff were very accommodating to all our needs

This was a very negative experience for us. The "Free Parking" was just street parking, which is nearly impossible in this part of Montreal. The pictures made it look like this was more like an apartment with multiple rooms to sleep in - it is NOT. It is a single small room with 3 sets of bunk beds, a bathroom like a coffin, and the "kitchenette" was a microwave and fridge. The stairs to get to this space were incredibly steep and dangerous for our children - we had to tell them to treat it like a ladder. And when we arrived at 6:30pm exhausted from being on the road all day, we had to wait nearly an hour for them to start/finish cleaning the room we would be in. This was not suitable for a family with young children.
