Auberge au toit rouge

I was delighted with our stay. Although I was apprehensive about sharing the bathroom with other guests, it was fine. A very pleasant stay for my wife and me. Tres Bon!

Jonathan's recommendations for a swim close by as well as his tipp to have dinner at Fromagerie des Basques made our short stay in Notre Dame des Neiges/ Trois Pistoles a wonderful experience. (PS: Fromagerie des Basques is an amazing spot to watch the sunset best accompanied by their outstanding gelato). The rooms are nicely renovated, very clean and we love that they try to not to produce so much waste e.g. by providing a reusable water bottle in the room and serve portioned breakfast items in reusable containers. A things that wasn't perfect but didn't bother us was the fact that when we arrived around 4 pm they weren't done yet with cleaning so some stuff/ garbage bag was lying in the hall ways.

The hosts are lovely and it is a great location, quiet, great breakfast.

A 200 year old property, only open a month under new management, and tastefully being remodeled. The owners were excellent hosts, very accommodating and supplied a more than adequate European breakfast. Great visit.

Felt very welcomed from the start, the place is cute et the owners are really nice. Liked the breakfast and having netflix in our room. Only cons for us would be that the wifi connection is really bad and mattress is hard and not so comfortable. Overall great experience.

we stayed at auberge au toit rouge in early July for two nights. the owners have done a great job making a grand opening to this new business. the whole building feels fresh, clean and cozy. the owners are inviting and warm, having thought of countless small details to keep people comfortable. the first night we arrived was the start of a heat wave; by the second night they’d bought a dozen fans, giving us two for our room. we have two small children who felt right at home. the owners make the clientele feel at ease, which creates a kind, community environment. breakfast was lovely. the price was a complete steal. we would absolutely come again and wish all the best for their success!

There is an amazing upper level back porch 12 feet wide with comfy sofa chairs waiting to be enjoyed as you look out onto the mighty Saint Lawrence river at the end of a long day of travel.

Excellent stay, we requested for a early breakfast which was accommodated. It was a very comfortable stay, the place was very comfortable, there was a pool table downstairs.

Historic property beautifully renovated in a mixture of period and craftsman.
