Weird rules, felt like a child, who is being told by mom what not to do, which doors not to use, etc. Very weird welcome. They asked when are we coming, they knew the hour, but when we arrived the doors were closed and it also hard to find, as they do not instruct you about the gate, etc. Very early check out(10:30). We waited outside the room till 11:30 for our taxi, when they started to clean the room at 11. When I entered the room to use the toilet at 11:20, the cleaning lady was laying on the bed. Also we informed the owner about leaking sink and she answered in the way suggesting that it’s our fault….

Wunderschöne, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtete Villa mit (ich glaube) 4 Gästezimmern. Sehr gemütliche Betten und schöne Dusche. Etwas abseits gelegen auf einem Berg, insofern sehr ruhig - abgesehen von dem wohligen Klang der Natur- mit sehr schönem Garten. Fantastisches , sehr liebevoll angerichtetes Frühstück (Frühstückszeit ist 8:30). Sehr freundlicher Gastgeber, organisiert einem TukTuks oder Taxis. Der Gastgeber lebt selber ein paar Häuser entfernt, kommt zum checkin and checkout vorbei. Leider blieben wir nur eine Nacht...

Le lieu est très lumineux, propre et agréable pour un court séjour à Kandy. Le personnel est adorable, comme partout au Sri Lanka.

Emplacement proche du centre de Kandy mais forcément bruyant.

Lieve dame die goed voor ons zorgde. Ruime kamer met bijna alle benodigdheden. Uitgebreid en lekker ontbijt. Ondanks dat het een homestay is, wordt goed rekening gehouden met privacy. De gastvrouw heeft onze was gedaan tegen een vergoeding.

De weg naar de homestay ligt iets afgelegen waardoor je een stukje omhoog moet ‘klimmen’. Het is echter prima te doen! Daarnaast is er enkel een ventilator, maar geen airco in de kamer. Voor ons was het goed te doen, maar op de warme dagen zou dit moeilijker kunnen zijn.

Der Gastgeber und Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück (vor allem Sri-lankische) war auch sehr lecker. Lage auch top, nicht direkt in der Stadt aber auch nicht weit weg.

Kleine Ameisen im Bad aber ich denke das ist im Dschungel zu erwarten.

Comfortable rooms with AC, in the heights of Kandy. Kind and helpful host, tasty breakfast. 15min walk down to the town or 5min tuktuk ride. There is a shop and a restaurant within walking distance. You can also walk up to a peaceful Buddhist temple overlooking the city.

少し建物は古いのだと思うけれど、よく手入れが行き届いている。朝早くからキャンディ駅から電車に乗る予定だったので、朝ごはんをパックしてもらったら、トーストしたサンドウィッチ（美味しかった！）、フルーツ、ビスケット、ジュースと豪華な朝ごはんを作ってくれていて感動。部屋に冷蔵庫はないけど、共用のところに色々入れさせてもらえた。また洗濯機は追加料金になるけど使ってもよいということだった（利用はしなかったが）。
