Worth the price. Only remark is there is a smell along stairs.

Joining bar liquor store to sketchy room card in an old water damaged holder screaming get out.

The gentleman at the front was so obliging in helping fund a secure place for my bike he let me leave it in the lobby! The room was first class although the air conditioner was a little noisy.

The bar staff weren't overly friendly- I guess an Aussie doesn't always ask the right questions!

Couple big flights of stairs to get there. Made it a little hard with the bags and kids. Rooms have been recelty renovated. The pub and liquor store is just downstairs. I think putting an elevator would bring me back but otherwise id go somewhere else.

I have stayed at the Northwood Plaza about a dozen times. I have always had a great experience. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, towels are clean. This stay however was not as fortunate. Our suite smelled grossly of fish. We checked the fridge, mircrowave, drawers, bathroom and bedroom to see where it was coming from. The smell was largely in the open living room area. The bedroom and bathroom were not as bad, but overall not enjoyable. No amount of opening windows, air conditoning and leaving the door open for airflow helped the situation. Upon checkout, the staff at the front did not seem to care or understand our disappointment. I suggested they look into the matter befire someone else has to deal with the same problem. He nodded his head in agreement and we left. Pretty disappointed with our stay, there were no other rooms to switch to and it was too late at night to pack up and find another hotel nearby our event.
