Key West Inn - Montgomery

The place is very bad. The toilet seemed to be coming out of the floor. There was no coffee or breakfast and the health rating was only 85. Bad area and this property should be taken off the Expedia list. DON"T STAY THERE!

The room we stayed in was not as clean as it could be in the first time we tried to go out the door the handle came off

This was the worst place ive have ever stayed no wash rags have to use a hand towel to dry off with place is run down please take this place off your listing we asked about rags and towels he said he did not have them at front desk also says it comes with breakfast the door is locked and no breakfast

Husband checked IN THE DARK. NO LIGHTS on marque(sign), NO LIGHTS IN LOBBY, NO LIGHTS IN CHECK IN OFFICE. In fact we drove past the motel and doubled back to find the drive way on that cloudy day when all other near businesses had their lights on. Pickup truck parked poorly in front our motel room we scrounged between it and a car to be close to room. Deadbolt lock ripped out only had door knob lock. BREAKFAST? Husband had to ask @8.am for coffee to perked and has given packed muffins to eat. Signed breakfast 6 am to 9 am

The property was not clean, was frequented by ladies of the evening who politely tapped upon my window no less than three times during my stay. The odor of herbs burning filled the night air and parking lot needed swept. The easy chair in my room was vinyl covered so i used a bath towel soaked in hot water to wipe down before I sat down. The results prompted me to use a bed sheet to cover the seat and I slept there for the night. The toilet rocked when I sat upon it, a very uneasy feeling. The WiFi and the tele worked fine and the channel selections were good. My car had not been tampered with and thed attendant was there when I checked out.

If you just need a place to lay your head for the night it’s fine but 3-4 nights I wouldnt do it. Don’t know about breakfast went to Waffle House.

The location was scary and my room did not have extra locks. There wasn’t a seal around the door. It was in a dodgy part of town. I couldn’t wait to get out of there!

Hotel staff was friendly but everything else about the stay was a disaster. Terrible area. I felt trapped in a nightmare. The kids were scared the whole time. There were roaches and possibly bedbugs although I didn’t see them personally, one of the kids woke up with bites on her tummy. Just stay away!

Bed was HORRIBLE, DOPE DEALERS AND PROSTITUTES EVERYWHERE NO FRIDGE AND NO WIFI AND NO BREAKFAST
