Comfort Suites Effingham Central

This is the 3rd comfort suites on this trip and the most disappointing. The floor was not vacuumed well, the bath tub was disgusting. I put a towel down to stand in it. There was limited parking because of workers, the lemon water had no lemon taste (yesterdays lemons?), the breakfast room was not attended and I took last items. It just wasn’t even close to as nice as Mattoon, Il and Forrest City, AR.

AC was old and did not cool down the entire room. Everything was old and rusty. Adjoining door didn't lock.

Easy access to the highway

Outdated, the couch was old looking, had all kinds of old candy sticking out from underneath the couch. The pillow cases looked as if they didn’t change them. They had hair on them from someone previously. We just felt uneasy because of the crowd hanging outside the hotel.

I like the comfort inn motels

Clean and easy. Pet friendly.

Train noise and louder trucks, cars.

Place was very nice

The location was perfect. The room was dirty-someone else's hair all over the bathroom when I arrived. Desk was sticky. Staff were not pleasant or friendly upon arrival. I asked where there was a good place to eat and she was only able to offer next door.

Excellent location for my business conference was across the street. We had planned a board meeting with the hotel and they double booked the room.
