SpringHill Suites by Marriott Tuckahoe Westchester County

Second time here and still a solid option. Comfortable and clean, with a nice staff. Onsite bar in the evenings is a welcome addition since I was last here, especially given lack of much within walking distance (small, very suburban hamlet). 10-15 min up the parkway to White Plains, 40 min to LGA, 20 min to the GW or Cuomo bridges, making it easy to get and out. Metro north station an easy 15-20 minute walk in Tuckahoe if you need to get in the city, but best positioned for working in Westchester or CT. Major downside is the WiFi is barely usable. Was unreliable the whole time and led me to hotspot via data instead, so not ideal if you need to do much streaming or vpn-based work from your room. Still wish there was a non-single-use plastics option for breakfast!

Colazione abbastanza misera..poche cose da mangiare e pochi posti dove sedersi (piu' di una mattina siamo stati in piedi) - La descrizione su Booking diceva Camera: 2 letti queen - Soggiorno: 1 divano letto - quindi faceva pensare ad una camera separata dal soggiorno, invece non era cosi'...ma una stanza unica e anche abbastanza piccola (e dalle foto non era cosi' chiaro)

This hotel is great for big gatherings, we attended a wedding nearby and it was nice having everyone in the same place. My big complaint is the smell of my room and the loud AC unit, that sounded like an airplane taking off. The room was masked with such a pungent air freshener, that I could taste it in my mouth. When I alerted the reception of these issues, they offered to send an engineer the next morning. ( the engineer never arrived) My room was never cleaned the next day, even though I was out most of the morning. I attended the wedding only to return to a room that smelled like urine (which is probably what the initial strong air freshener was trying to cover up) I get that this hotel is busy, but they really should give the rooms an extra deep clean when someone urinates in the room. As for the AC, I figured out how to turn it off from the unit myself as the wall control did F-all!

Hotel was very clean and staff was great. Loved the room decor.
