La Soffitta Covelli

Our stay in this lovely Trani property was a real pleasure. The building itself is full of charm and character, perfectly situated in the heart of the historic district, everything inside the apartments is spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully maintained. The modern bathrooms were well designed and added a touch of luxury to the simplicity of the setting. We appreciated the inviting common area where coffee, snacks, and a light breakfast were always available to start the day. Although there is no elevator, the stairs were manageable even for us as an older couple, and well worth it for the atmosphere and location. What also stood out was the warmth and attentiveness of our hosts, who made us feel genuinely welcome.

Sehr schönes B&B in zentraler und dennoch ruhiger Lage; saubere, gut ausgestattete Zimmer (inkl. Kaffee + Wasser for free); sympathische, hilfsbereite Gastgeber; Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis passt auch - insgesamt alles stimmig und somit klare Empfehlung. Ergänzender Hinweis: Ein Parkplatz in einer 250m entfernten Tiefgarage kann für EUR 15 pro Tag zusätzlich gebucht werden.

We used the parking option, which was sensible. We were met at the parking by Lucia who was very professional and informative. The location was excellent, located on the second floor of an old palazzo (not great if you find stairs a challenge - they were steep). It was close to the port, the cathedral and the castle as well as bars and restaurants

There could have been a wastepaper basket in the bedroom as we had stuff to throw away and the bathroom bin was a bit small for water bottles etc.

Незабываемое пребывание в палаццо эпохи Возрождения, но при этом со всеми современными удобствами. Чудесная Мария встретила на парковке и довезла на своей машине до самого палаццо. Трани прекрасен — сюда хочется возвращаться.

The palazzo is full of character and very quiet despite being centrally located. Hosts were welcoming and extremely helpful, meeting us at the garage and driving us and luggage to the accommodation. Plentiful water and coffee/tea were provided in the rooms and refilled daily.

Given it trades as a B&B, the breakfast was a bit scant, though the fresh croissants were delicious. (Not the property's fault, but the beautiful and narrow roads of Trani old town on the property's doorstep have no pavements and are open to cars, so walking around is not as pleasurable or scenic as it could be.)
