The room was clean

The pool was dirty, we booked 2 nights but left after the 1 night, no fridge in the homestay. We asked the host to clean the pool but unfortunately nothing was done

The views were breathtaking, and the staff were wonderful.

Didn't like how far it was and when I booked room, there were few mistakes when it reserved under different browser and didn't get 2 main things I wanted.

Nice couple of days stay on this very quiet part of the island. Very accommodating staff and very comfortable room. Bar and swimming pool just over the road from the accommodation.

The pool is amazing, restaurant /bar right next to you so you can order something. Comfortable bed.

Saw a orange juice on a table for more than 1 day. No one picked it up. It’s far away from everything. Lots of flies would come when we got served with food.

The staff were nice and you could organise trips from the location. The pool was very nice to chill in

It was quite far from the harbour so difficult to get to and there was always so many flies around the food- leading to us getting sick (thats why the low score)

Amazing accommodation, the family that manage the place is super nice and welcoming, the staff of the restaurant super kind, good food with abundant portions. Perfect place to stay away from touristic and crowded area of nusa penida, of course you need a scooter to move. Very clean rooms and free water. Swimming pool with amazing view over the village and the ocean with stunning sunrise.

On the positive side, the location was good. It's further away from the more touristy areas, which gives it a more authentic and local vibe, but you’ll definitely need a motorbike to get around. The pool across the way was a nice perk, but the issues with the bathroom and the lack of response about the helmet left me with a negative overall impression.

I stayed at Horizon Homestay for four nights, and while the room itself was decent and the air conditioning worked well, the shared bathroom was a huge downside. I've stayed in plenty of hostels with shared bathrooms, but this one was on another level – it smelled like urine the entire time. It was truly unpleasant. Additionally, someone took our motorbike helmet during the stay, and when I reached out to the business for assistance, they completely stopped responding, which was frustrating since they had been responsive before. Another issue is that the walls are incredibly thin, so expect to hear every door opening and closing, which makes it difficult to sleep in. On the positive side, the location was good.
