"Hidden Gem!"

We were extremely sad to leave Mario and his family at Costa di Faraggiana recently after a brilliant stay which we could not fault. We are so glad we decided not to pick a place closer to Levanto town / chain hotel to experience the beautiful views up where the family hotel is situated to get to know the family and have a wonderful stay in the peace and quiet, amongst the scenery. The view from our room was fantastic too. Breakfast on the terrace overlooking vineyards and Levanto was a perfect way to start the day with a warm welcome each time. The hotel provide frequent and reliably timed shuttles down to Levanto and back, and provide ad hoc lifts to the station if you arrive by train. They helped us book restaurants which were local in Levanto which they also enjoy eating at. They were popular with the locals and tourists as we often saw people turned away whilst eating there. The spa (with steam room and sauna to use in the afternoon) / jacuzzi / pool overlooking was just the icing on top of the cake. Drinks at the bar are reasonably priced - we recommend a Hugo spritz by the pool or on the terrace. 100% recommend - you won’t regret it for beautiful scenery, peace and quiet after a busy day in one or more of the Cinque Terre villages. Our only regret was not saying bye to Mina and Zoe! Thank you and we would definitely return again, and have already told our friends and family about Costa Di Faraggiana

Magnificent location. The views are beautiful. Perfect for exploring the Cinque Terre. The boat excursion was great. You see the coast the way it should be seen, without being surrounded by crowds. Levanto is lovely. The people at Faraggiana were helpful and friendly.

The breakfast was very good and the property although out of the city offered transportation whenever it was needed. The staff, which was mostly family, where friendly and very helpful.
