Chania Hostel Youth 18-50

Kosta é um excelente proprietário! Sua alegria contagia os hospedes! Sua mae e os gatos completam a hostilidade. O hostel é muito limpo e organizado e fica praticamente na praia. Na porta passa onibus ro aeroporto, mercados, cafes tudo perto! So posso recomendar.

Pros: Nice host, cute backyard, friendly feeling

Cons: No Air conditioning at night makes it harder to sleep, switching rooms is a bit cumbersome

Everything was great! Kostas is a wonderful guy, I really felt comfortable here. It’s 5min from the beach and the store, about 20min walk from the old town. Loved using the kitchen there and the garden/inner yard is a really nice place to relax

Very welcoming and communal hostel where you can meet other travellers. Nice outside terrace area where you can rest and chat with others.

I was only provided a pillowcase and flat sheet to sleep with and there was no bedsheet on the mattress (only a mattress protector). That felt quite unsanitary. Staff adjusted the air conditioning before leaving for the night. The setting made the room quite hot and stuffy at night, despite it being a pleasant temperature during the day.

The garden is a beautiful place where you can meet the other guests and pet the kittens that live there. There's a really friendly atmosphere and the owner is very kind. It's nice to stay there.

Saying that this was my second stay at this hostel is already enough to show how much I like this place. All hotels are similar but hostels have their particular character, and if I have to describe this hostel is awesomely welcoming and fun to stay. Most of all I like very much the garden which is a great gathering please to rest, chill out and meet other friendly travellers.

Ubicación excelente, el personal muy amable te ayudan en todo lo que pueden, el patio es súper tranquilo y bonito. El ambiente es agradable. Tienen cocina equipada

I am deeply grateful that a strike of luck - or even fate - led me to find and stay in this hostel for my first (and, hopefully, not the last) visit to the beautiful island of Crete. If you ever come here, I can assure you that you'll find a place that truly feels like home. It has all the commodities you might need to feel comfortable on your trip, a pleasant space, the cleaning is impeccable, the availability from the team is faultless, everything is so organized, the location is great and very accessible, and last but not least...the garden (!!!) in which I had some of the chillest times, some of the most interesting conversations and where some of the best and most remarkable memories from my trip were created...all of this, of course, in the company of our beloved-by-all friendly (and quite energetic too ahah) kitties, accompanied by clear starry night skies and the summery sound of the singing cicadas. From the bottom of my heart, thank you ♥️ To the whole team from the hostel, that make this place so special. For your genuine smiles, friendliness, generosity and ever-present availability to help anyone who might be in need. And I gotta thank you, Kostas, in particular, for helping me out without any hesitation when I needed, too. There's no words for how great you guys are. Being here contributed immeasurably to make my experience so rich. Soooo if anyone actually reads this review, be sure that if you come to this hostel not only you'll find a real sense of home in Crete, as you'll also find great people that fill it. I would recommend it anytime. It was, without a hint of a doubt, one of the best experiences I ever had at an hostel. And if I'm ever lucky enough to come back to Crete some day...I know where I'll go back to.
