Hotel was great for my 2 night stay, it was close to my activities. Saturday night was extremely rough with either gun fire or fireworks going off for several hours and until almost midnight. Sleeping was impossible until the noise stopped.

The hotel was within an easy walk to downtown Midland. The staff was helpful, and the room was clean. Breakfast was the usual fare. One of the two elevators needed repair. I feel that the hotel was not exceptional and overpriced.

First a warning. Reserve on their hotel website only as I reserved a suite for two nights and it was $20 a night more calling the hotel directly. Both were the same rate and refundable but the hotel person was firm. Stay at a lot of Marriots and this one had a very clean room but the worst breakfast I ever found in the chain. Eggs said cage free but were watery and gross as was the sausage. Toaster was a joke taking five minutes to partially do a slice and coffee was ice cold after I finally got them to replace the missing cups. I'd stay here again but would only reserve online and would never even consider their breakfast
