West Mead Cottage

This was our third stay at West Mead Cottage, and the hosts are such a wonderful family. We had a blissful time again. The cottage is so comfortable and it is quiet so it’s a great place to relax. The hot tub is a lovely treat too. You can get supplies from a local supermarket and there are several good places to eat. We have breakfast at the Ness Botanical Gardens as the food is great. We will definitely be staying again as it’s a great place to explore the Wirral and visit Liverpool.

The cottage was beautifully maintained in a lovely location with a gorgeous private courtyard.

Only one small problem in that the shower floor was slippy when wet so a shower mat would be helpful.

It was so peaceful and comfortable it was bliss

The internet didn’t work but I hooked my phone up to the television and used my personal hotspot so that was sorted, also even though we didn’t see the hosts other than getting to the cottage, it made us feel like we were teenagers when needing to walk past the main house so was slightly off putting going out

Everything was perfect

The Cottage was perfect, in a fabulous location to go out visiting places then come back and relax.

Quiet location

West Mead cottage was beautifully furnished and decorated. Everything was of a high standard. It was superclean, warm and comfortable, a peaceful place to relax and unwind.

Only 1 hand towel provided, (2 bath towels) The quilt cover looked lovely but the material was not comfortable, rather scratchy. The email sent on the night of my arrival reminding me the £50 charge should i fail to check out on time was unnecessary, blunt and not the most pleasant of welcomes.

Lovely rural location. Easy to find with the directions supplied by the host. Private and not over looked. Just a half hour drive from central Liverpool.

It's under the Liverpool Airport landing flight path, but not particularly noticeable.
