Didn’t stay very dirty canceled and stayed elsewhere

The location of the hotel is great. There's so much stuff that's really close by.

There wasn't anything to not like. The staff was great and really friendly and the hotel was very clean.

I made a reservation for two employees at this hotel for a week-long stay, as our work at the local airport frequently requires accommodations. However, after completing their tasks on the fifth day, the employees checked out early, only to be informed that they would incur charges for the entire duration of their stay due to not notifying the front desk 48 hours in advance. This policy was not clearly stated in the reservation details; while it mentioned a one-night charge for cancellations made less than 48 hours BEFORE check-in, it did not specify that an early check-out would result in being charged for two nights. Consequently, we will be seeking alternative lodging options in Eagle for future visits, as we prefer to avoid hotels with such unclear and seemingly exploitative check-out policies.

The hotel property was dirty, with old mattresses piled in the back, a lawn mower sitting out, and a broken fence. The pet area was nothing but dirt. Breakfast was unimpressive, with what seemed like fake eggs and no waffle maker. The gym was a joke with no working equipment, which made me mad because it was one of the reasons I selected the hotel. The room had furniture we thought was 40 years old. The microwave and refrigerator looked like they were bought from a Goodwill and put in the room. The bathroom floor was dirty. The blow dryer in the bathroom was broken. The room seemed cramped with all the old furniture (Coffee stand, TV stand, Desk, Fridge/microwave stand). In fact, they had the desk chair pushed into the open closet 'cause the room is too small. They don't separate rooms with dogs from visitors who don't have a pet. So, dogs apparently can be anywhere in the hotel. We had two dogs down the hall barking all night, and the staff did nothing about it. The front desk staff were very nice and helpful, but there wasn't much they could do. This is the kind of hotel I don't mind staying at as a man for one night if I'm traveling and just need to sleep, but not a hotel I'd want to bring my wife and children to. We wanted to visit Vail, which was 30 miles away, and were just disappointed with our hotel stay.
