Ontbijt was goed

Heel vreemde sfeer. Ruziemakend personeel, Tot 45 minuten aanschuiven voor checkin. Bediend door iemand met ‘Boss’ op het kaartje, maar ze had het helemaal niet onder controle. De kamer was eerst niet klaar (half uur na beloofde check-in tijd) maar dan ineens wel. Er lag een metal-stud in de kamer en er miste een paneel in het plafond. Plotseling stond er ook een werkman zonder kloppen in de kamer. Plafond is hersteld, metal-stud is blijven liggen. Half uur later weer een werkman om het werk te controleren. Deze klopte wel. Wake-up call 10 minuten na afgesproken uur waardoor je onder de douche stond als ze belden. Bij uitchecken niemand aan de balie, personeel van het ontbijt kon niet helpen en vond hun collega ook niet. Ondertussen weer een rij aan de receptie… Qua faciliteiten eigenlijk een prima hotel, maar het beheer is echt dramatisch…

Understaffed. We spent the evening in the bar and the poor girl working was by herself, trying to check people in, deal with other customers at the desk and serve at the bar. It was very busy for a while in the bar with long waits for drinks. Also long queue of people checking in. It wasn't her fault and she was doing amazing but we felt sorry for her. Another staff member was definitely needed.. She had no time to clear tables, wash glasses etc because she was so busy and some customers getting annoyed. I definitely think this needs to be sorted. We payed for our stay when we checked in, then the next morning checking out they said there was no record of our payment so had to get our bank app out to prove we had paid.

The staff was extremely helpful. They went out of their way to make everything smooth and easy for me. I was pleasantly surprised to find a bath in my room. It made me very happy. 😁 The Hotel is so close to Antwerp Centraal, and made it a pleasure to travel around.

Everything was great.

De locatie is top! Centraal in de diamant wijk. Hele fijne, schone kamer met goede matrassen!
