Wyndham Garden Dallas North

The overall experience with the hotel was not what was expected with that of a Wyndham Hotel. The cleanliness was terrible, the hallways and room smelled of weed, the elevator was unsafe, and we waited to check in for nearly 10 minutes with no answer. Ultimately, we had to call the desk and let it ring for a while before someone came and helped. Location was close to what we needed; however, the state of the hotel was not ideal. They charged a $50 deposit without disclosure of the cost and it was not worth over $300 for two nights.

Hotel is old, elevator is so old that can only hold 3 people, feels like it’s gonna quit anytime. Ice machines were broken on 1st floor and 5th floor. Bugs in the room, not sure if it’s bed bugs nor not. Cleaning crew didn’t even change bed sheet or pillow cover for 3 nights of stay. Breakfast only has muffin and a few fruits, but they claim they have complimentary breakfast. You have to order food.

Slowest elevators ever. Had a bad smell throughout the building.

Staff, beds , room size, dinning

Elevators operations , no alternative access to the main entrance. Poor maintenance of bathroom fixtures and outdoor grounds

Good area no noise.

The plugins weren’t strong enough as the phone chargers kept coming unplugged! Left the A/C on and it would still be hot. No tv guide

The staff let us know that a party with loud music would be going on that night and asked us if we wanted or room to be away from the noise.

The sign that only 3 people could be on the elevator. It would be nice to know that from the staff. Ceilings in the hallway supper low. Our room had rust fixtures in the bathroom and unfinished repair work on the walls. I gave my $110 to stay there and I was disappointed. Knowing they wanted to charge my card if they found I ruined the room is sad when they have not fixed the room themselves.
