Days Inn by Wyndham Globe

Very clean

I chose this property because breakfast was free. Although there are a few places in town that are less expensive, the free breakfast makes up for the difference in cost. The woman who checked me in was very friendly and gave me a coupon for a buy one, get one free meal at a local restaurant. I like the mini fridge and microwave in the room.

The coffee pot was missing from the room. The door was difficult to open and close. It was especially difficult to lock. The parking lot is not great since the place is on the side of a hill. It makes it quieter, since you're not right on the highway, but it's more difficult to navigate and there are some blind corners that felt unsafe driving around the building. The place would likely be difficult for anyone with physical disabilities to navigate because of how it's built. Most of the parking lot is below the building and requires the use of stairs to get to the rooms. We parked around back to avoid having to go up and down stairs just to reach our first-floor room. The rooms are carpeted, which I don't really care for. I think carpeting in a public place is just a dirt trap. The pool didn't appear to use a key card. It looked like it was padlocked at night. Although it was fenced, it appeared to be unlocked during the day. Seemed like a safety hazard. I would not want to take a young child to this location.

It is a very nice place

The hotel looked nice upon pulling up. When checking in, the staff was very friendly and helpful, giving detailed information about the facilities. They had menus of local restaurants on hand to help decide where to eat. The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and also very clean. The pool was relaxing and big enough for several families to be in at one time. Location was excellent. Near several restaurants and the main road. Breakfast was good. I would have liked a larger selection, but I couldn't complain.

The only thing I wasn't a fan of was the limited breakfast offering. It wasn't bad, but compared to other Wyndam properties, it was small

It was a one day teip but it was good. Staff very friendly and no complaints. They helped me with the accomodations. I only needed the room for my family to sleep then continue on our trip.
