Courtyard by Marriott Dulles Airport Chantilly

The hotel is under construction and doesn’t seem clean. My room smelled strongly of body odor. I told the front desk and since they were booked, she couldn’t change my room. Instead she gave me Febreeze. While that was nice of her, it shouldn’t even be necessary. Also, I am laying here unable to sleep because the air conditioner sounds like a freight train. I wouldn’t stay here ever again.

They rude as hell so I cancel it and they said they not gonna refund my money so yeah they robbed me

Hotel being renovated. Not mentioned at booking. Very noisy air conditioning kept me awake. Poor breakfast not made clear at booking that it was extra cost.

Staff is amazing !!!!! beds are comfy. Definitely will stay again. Easy checkin. 👍 Salems at the front desk is great. My family will definitely stay again, very accommodating staff Craig in bistro 👍👍 try the bistro burger it’s amazing!!

Construction of the property was challenging and has a role in my rating. The biggest issue is that the property advertises 24hr hotel airport shuttle but you have to call to request it. We waited 45mins and called twice and a shuttle never arrived so we had to pay for an uber. The room had an awful smell but it was already midnight after a long day of travel so I dealt with it.

It was quiet, clean and just what we needed to get ready for a concert and stay the night after. There was a sliding glass door that goes outside which was nice. The only thing I would've changed was there wasnt a fridge or microwave to heat up leftover take out later after the concert. Lighting wasn't great where the sink and mirror are if you need to apply makeup just bring a mirror. Just so guests know they're currently (May 2025) doing renovations but it didn't effect our stay at all on a Sat night. Im not sure what the week is like though.

We have been staying here since the last construction about 20 years ago This time we had the worst treatment ever. Registration was gone.?? Rate was changed and breakfast no longer was included. Upon questioning all that in the morning we were told to get in touch with the manager. We are here for work not to be dealing with hotel issues that should be with Marriott standard. Oh well we checked out immediately to a full service Marriott for less money and more respect. Front desk clerk could not care less for our complaints or us leaving the hotel. Will never stay there again and will make sure that none of my colleagues will patronize this establishment.

Accommodating and personable staff, and included airport shuttle.

Staff was not helpful at all. After check in did not direct me to which elevator to use to reach my 2nd floor room. The first one I took it opened to a floor full of televisions and construction materials. I did not get off and went back to the front desk and ask why they did not direct me to the correct elevator. "Oh, sorry" was the only response. This was a young lady that checked me in so I am sure you can identify her. She is not an asset to your team.
