Where do I start. Checked in at 3pm. Got my room key and went to the room. Door was standing wide open. It had not be cleaned yet. Went back to the front desk and got another room. This time the room had been cleaned but .......... 1st thing I see when I wall in is the light that usually hangs between the beds was currently sitting on the table by the window. I was going to call the front desk but there was no phone. So I go back to the front desk to let them know. This is a just in case, just in case they thought I did it. Reason being is to protect my $50 security deposit. I go back to the room and go on in. I try to turn on a light and of course it don’t work. Finally the second lamp I tried did work. Looking around with light now I can pretty easily spot the many stains on the carpet. It’s in terrible shape. Also the room has a musky, wet smell to it. After driving all the way there I decided to stick it out. By this point I’m just tired. I unpack and turn on the tv. It’s so fuzzy you can’t even see the picture. I check the cable on the back of the tv, it’s not even connected. It actually don’t have the screw connector. It’s just been trimmed and shoved to the tv. With a little work I get the tv fixed and figure out the issue with the broken lamp. After a trip to a Food Lion I blast the room with some air freshener and manage to relax Just remember and in my opinion this is why the room is so cheap. I got what I paid for. Which is not much
