Front desk staff was very nice

Room A/C has had a leak for a while- walking around with bare feet I discovered the carpet was wet about 5 feet out into the room. They couldn’t move us as the hotel was full that night. My concern was the possibility of mold. The highway outside was having construction done so it was hard to leave the hotel and have to go in one direction until you get around the barriers to go the other way. And the pool was closed- I didn’t even see a pool.

It was under construction so room door was falling off the hinges. The shower didn’t work. The AC wasn’t working and smell musty. The pool wasn’t open due to construction also. They had bag breakfast but other than water there wasn’t much in the bag.

When we checked out.

First room the carpet was wet and musky smell. Complained, desk clerk acknowledged that that room should not have been booked Second room, was not cleaned well, and the air conditioner was extremely loud and made it difficult to sleep. Location is horrible. It is in the middle of no where.

Water leak in room they did nothing about

Staff was great, room was not. Amenities and free guest laundry were good. Broken door and moldy floor was bad. Despite getting sick, I might stay again, as price was good.

The area is a bit tough to navigate with construction. Previous Hampton Inn sign to be replaced. Grab n go breakfast back was not too bad if your not too hungry.

Close to where I needed to go.

Everything was fine.
