Our cabin was switched after I made the reservation. I didn't think it would be a problem, however the floors in our cabin were so soft and unsafe that the dining chairs felt like you were falling through. It was scary. When I mentioned it to the manager they started talking poorly about us in another language. It appeared that way anyhow since there were eyerolls made. He said the cabin was just remolded. Other than the floors, it was alright. The road traffic was kind of noisy but that's because the location and no fault of the owners. We will not be back to that cabin #1 specifically. Maybe the others are better.
Food and location
The area is beautiful but the room was too small to comfortably sleep the number we had reserved for. The room had very thin curtains which interfered with evening activities. Also the staff was either mistaken or less than honest when they talked about our pre check in conversations. They blamed the problems on Expedia
The lodge managers were able to accommodate our stay, even though Hotels/expedia.com site created an overbooking of the cabin we booked.

Beautiful views but beds were super uncomfortable and wasn’t easy to use the heater we were very cold and the “free breakfast” was kind of a joke

The cabin had one small space heater in 30 degree weather The stove and regular heat did not work because they shut off gas and wanted to charge $250 if we turned it on The lodge dining only had leftovers and extremely limited 4 burgers 1 pot pie some pulled pork and sausage and only fries for some of us Also limited drinks I was also told very little snow Well 2-8 ft is not a little I could go on and on the only positive was the gentleman with the glasses he kept things together We checked out early and I will be asking Expedia for my money back!
