Penn's View Hotel Philadelphia

Staff were wonderful, helpful, and friendly and the place was very clean. The housekeeping staff did a fabulous job maintaining our room each day and providing fresh towels, etc.

The only area of improvement would be our bed. We would sink and roll into each other. Not sure when the last time the mattress was replaced. Otherwise our stay was fabulous!

Robert and Antonio are amazing. They go above and beyond in providing outstanding customer service. The hotel and rooms are clean and comfortable. The property is in an excellent location and walking distance to many attractions. Public transportation (bus & subway train) are a very short walking distance (the bus is almost at the front door). The restaurant on-site (Panorama) has good food, service, and a Guinness World Record plaque at the bar for its extensive wine system. I will return and would highly recommend this hotel.

I didn't like that I needed to leave. I could have stayed a little longer.

It was very clean, and honestly, one of the cleanest hotel rooms I’ve stayed at. The hotel is close to the bus and train stations. Relatively close to tourist spots, restaurants, the harbor, and cafes. The complimentary brewed coffee and fresh muffins daily was a nice morning treat.

Too close to the noisy interstate I booked this hotel specifically for the balcony because I love having fresh air. Unfortunately, the noise from the nearby interstate is way too loud—even with the windows and balcony doors fully closed. If you stay here, definitely bring earplugs or noise protection.
