Borgo fuori dal tempo e il b&b perfettamente calato nel contesto. Ottima ristrutturazione e spazi comuni ricavati da ambienti di un tempo. Buona la colazione e ampie le camere, la nostra anche con uso cucina.

Location; the building itself and it's renovation. If the weather had been better we would have taken advantage of his wine-bar.

Just a few little things: no glasses (paper or glass) in room. And our very friendly host wasn't completely aware of which restaurants were open.

Castiglione is a beautiful ancient village with old houses in narrow streets. A walk through the streets is truly breathtaking and offers beautiful views of the surrounding countryside and Etna itself. Especially at sunrise, the village has a very mysterious and mystical feel. The accommodation is very tasteful, modern and sensitively designed with local history in mind, located on top of a rock massif. The road to it is not exactly easy, but if you follow Vincenzo's instructions carefully, you will not get lost. If you get lost, the host Vincenzo will come to your aid (as did we 🙈, many thanks Vincenzo) 😉 The accommodation for 4 friends was tastefully and modernly designed, a beautiful bathroom, a bedroom, a living room with a sofa bed and a kitchen. There is also a small outdoor courtyard among the rocks with a table and chairs. Vincenzo and his wife are very friendly and nothing is a problem for them. The homemade breakfast prepared by his lovely wife was delicious ❤️ Vincenzo is a winemaker, we really enjoyed talking with him about his work with the vines and vineyards at the foot of Etna. A great bonus is the wine shop located right next to the apartment, run by Vincenzo himself. I recommend Vincenzo's Etna bianco and Etna rosso, both are delicious and I brought them home as a gift for my family. In the wine shop Vincenzo also sells local cheeses and sausages and various pestos - pistachio, herb, onion, tomato etc. and lots more. I recommend shopping here - firstly, everything tastes great (tried and brought home) and secondly, it is very affordable compared to the prices at the airport and elsewhere in Sicily. Vincenzo can also advise on how to get to Etna etc. and will also provide a map. If I could rate it more than 10, I would. I would love to return to this place with my family to see this magical place.

Vincenzo and Martina looked after us brilliantly. We arrived in a thunderstorm unexpectedly early and were looked after kindly and generously. The room was very comfortable. They prepared us a delicious breakfast which kept us going all day

B&B nel cuore del Borgo di Castiglione di Sicilia dotato di ogni confort...

Sehr schön renovierte und gestaltete Räume, mitten im alten Ortskern. Gutes Frühstück.

Im März war es noch sehr kalt und es wäre schön gewesen, wenn es nicht nur in Schlafzimmer und Bad, sondern auch im Wohnraum eine Heizung gegeben hätte. Etwas schwierig zu finden.
