Hotel O Columbia Downtown near I-65

I liked nothing about this place.

Staff was RUDE. No ashtray’s so I called down & the desk answered the phone and said “WHAT!?” Told him there was no ashtray. he said come get one. No one in the office when I got there. Our fridge was disgusting. My hair got caught on something on the bed frame so I looked to see what it was, it was a dried booger! Hair on our toilet. No hot breakfast or even coffee. Absolutely the worst place I’ve ever stayed. if I could give it a 0 I would!

When we arrived at the hotel. Upon checking in i was surprised by them charging my card 60 bucks for something i have no clue of. I paid what yall were charging and usually thats it. When i get to my room it doesnt have a working hot tub or jets theres spiders and roaches everywhere. I went and asked the front desk clerk and he informed me there was no hot tub or suite anymore there but thats what i was under the impression i was reserving when i did. There was dead bugs all over the room and the water from the clogged jets was dark black and muddy like. Then our room is opened by someone i have no clue who she was but that was rude and it wasnt check out yet. So why did she open my rooms door.

Better than exspected. It was well worth the price.

This was the dirtiest, needing work/maintenance and needing all new bedding & linens, the worst hotel we have EVER stayed at. The noise of neighbors was soo inappropriate. We checked out early. We will never go back.

Air conditioning worked but was loud, unit had broken vents. Bathroom was tiny and the bathtub had broken rails and shelf was broken, linens looked dirty, lighting was rigged, no lamps, USB wall outlet didn’t work. Furniture was old and worn, dresser was missing a drawer, lobby was unwelcoming

Waited outside in the middle of the night for 10 mins an had to call head office to even get key! Then she came out basically mad didn’t even say one word to me gave me a key didnt tell me where room was located or anything i said have a good night she rolled her eyes an walked away. The sheets were disgusting roach traps everywhere. The room was disgusting we stayed for 5 hours an left.

Complete pile of trash. The pictures are lies and this place should be torn down. Checked in and the front desk was awful. Went to the room completely trash. Blood on the sheets shower was black mold above the shower head. Rags where not cleaned but black. Checked out within a small amount of time with no refund. The woman even tried to give me the key back to make me stay. Outside parking lot cars broke down weeds 6 foot tall and pool area was a mess. Please don't stay here they only get your money and take off.

I wish I had read reviews before I stayed here. This place was terrible. The AC took about 36 hours before it started to cool. Had to sleep in the recliner by the AC to cool of at all (over July 4th!) The TV did not work at all, couldn't even turn it off so had to unplug it altogether. There was no handset on the phone so couldn't call the office for help after our family get together elsewhere. The "accessibility" was practically nonexistent. There are stability bars, but the toilet is regular, not chair height like it's supposed to be, the bathtub/shower is just a regular bathtub, which I was able to manage but someone in a wheelchair would NOT be able to. There was black mold on an uncovered piece of sheetrock on the ceiling above the tub/shower. Fortunately I am not allergic to black mold but someone who is would become ill from staying there. There was dirty built up in all the crevices on the floors, the caulking around the tub was moldy and the vents on the AC were filthy with build-up of dirt over the years. In general, the entire place is filthy with trash everywhere and should be condemned. Also, they show a pool on their website but it is covered with with no plans to open it in the near or distant future. The manager (owner?) told me it was closed for 2 years for Covid and they don't know what might be in there now so they just plan to leave it. I also can't imagine what might be lurking in that covered, filled pool but I'm sure it is disgusting just like the rest of that place. For your own safety, please find someplace else to stay!
