Cypress Creek Cottages

Second time we've visited, both times in black cottage. This time Easter weekend. Despite some rainfall I highly recommend spring (or fall) travel in Texas as summers are too crazy hot. I can't imagine a more accomodating place to stay in Wimberley area. Prices are very reasonable. You barely see or interact w/ staff because you don't need to. Inside is pretty much a small house; no cabin compromises here. Great place to have a get together/reunion as each cabin is close but still spaced out. Atttractive and maintained grounds. Very quiet. Hot tub isn't as hot as I'd like but that's probably a safety issue. An instruction on its usage was missing from blue cottage, as well as an insert on their complementary candle (my sister there likes free stuff) so I could take the score down to 99.5%. Two years ago in summer they had wasps on the grounds like probably everywhere else that year in Hill country, but staff came right out to spray. Deer came upon grounds this time. Market Days are held first weekend many months in Wimberley and really cool to see. Strongly recommend The Leaning Pear and Longleaf restaurants for upscale food/reasonable prices. Great to se they haven't torn down Pioneer Town. I can't think of a better weekend and affordable getaway in mid Texas.

Cute for a great couple getaway or place to have absolutely sublime alone time

We loved it! So peaceful, but only 2 miles from downtown Wimberley. We spent our nights listening to music and relaxing in the private hot tub. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be going back.

We arrived in the area quite late at night (10 pm) and tried to find last minute booking. Although TripAdvisor and other lodging search websites howed there was no availability at the time, I decided to give it a try to check their website directly. We were able to find a cottage for the night. The contactless check in and check out process was quick and convenient. We stayed at the purple cottage. We were pleased to find that our cottage looked exactly as in the photos. The cottage was clean and had all amenities we need. Beds were comfy. They offered bath robes too. In the morning, we enjoyed the private hot tub before checking out at 11:00 am. Great stay over all.

Loved property and location. Hot tub was the best. Loved the veiw. Next time i will bring cane pole for fishing.

The cottage was amazing and very nice. Could only book 1 night due to availability, but already planning another trip. Management was amazing which was an added bonus!!! Recommended to a complete stranger that we met in Wimberley while having dinner!

The cabins here are awesome! This was our second trip here. Got to stay 3 days tjis time! Cant wait to plan the next trip

This is our first time at cypress creek cottages and will definitely not be our last! The customer service was unbelievable, the thought and personalization that they put into your cottage makes you feel right home from the complimentary dogs toys, treats, and bowls to the hot tub and even a dog park! Needless to say we really enjoyed our stay and are so sad to leave!

Our room had everything we needed for two days, and the property was in immaculate condition. The access to Cypress Creek was clean and mowed, and the water was clear and refreshing. The location was central to all that Wimberley has to offer. We really enjoyed our stay and are already planning our next trip.

Arrived early and was sitting in an outdoor area as our cabin was still being cleaned. We watched the person cleaning come in and out of our cabin with no mask or gloves as was stated in the Covid protocol on their site. We called the office and someone came to address the report quickly. Sofa was a sleeper sofa and it was in bad shape. Cushions caved in every time you sat down. Coffee maker did not work. Cabin was stocked well and grounds were great. Very pet friendly.
