Lovely clean room, friendly helpful staff. Slept really well we both thought the pillows were particularly good. Breakfast great, plenty of choices including Icelandic options. The location was excellent, an easy walk to all the attractions of Reykjavík. Having bus stop 9 outside the hotel was great for airport transfers and most of our excursions picked us up here. Plenty of eating options around including the slightly better value food market. Loa the hotel restaurant was excellent run by fantastic staff.

We stayed there 2 days, went to the South Coast, then came back and stayed another day. Location was central in the town, which was very nice. The room was small, but comfy as well. The restaurant (Loa) was also quite nice and the staff there was super friendly. At the end of our stay, the manager was quite helpful in clearing up an issue that would have otherwise lowered my ratings on this experience.

We had the half board included, which in hindsight we did regret because the location was so close to other restaurants that we wanted to experience. The waiter at the Loa accidentally only took 15% off instead of taking the full amount off with the half board...a simple mistake...no issues. I went at check-out and saw the mistake and pointed it out. The man checking me out was somewhat condescending and asked me multiple times if I had given them the voucher, which I knew I had because I went back upstairs to the room for the sole purpose of grabbing the voucher and remember giving it to the waiter (again he was super nice and just made a mistake when we were chatting on the way out). He said he couldn't refund my money, but charge me the full amount and would "look into it". When we came back for the 2nd stay, I noticed the manager there, and asked him about it. It was clear the guy checking me out before did absolutely nothing, but the manager was extremely helpful and took care of things right away. As most know, the food in Iceland is expensive, so that refund was for around $150...not a small chunk of change. While I appreciated how quickly the manager looked into the fix, the first guy was not representing the place well. A couple of pieces of advice for anyone staying there: (1) don't bother with the half board...not worth it, and (2) if you go in the summer months, they don't have AC so be sure you find that window that opens to the outside air or it gets hot and stuffy in there.

The location of the hotel was great for exploring downtown Reykjavik and Laugavegur street. It was also near several bus stops for both local buses and tour pickups.

The breakfast was fine--not great but similar to most hotels and useful for early mornings before tours.

La colazione era abbondante e comprendeva sia dolci che salati presentati in modo ottimale. La posizione dell'hotel era centrale e comoda. La fermata del bus, la n. 9, è praticamente all'uscita dell'hotel.

La mia camera era provvista di balcone, direttamente sulla strada, ma era in comunione con un'altra stanza. Per motivi di privacy sarebbe opportuno un divisorio.

Do samego hotelu nie mam zastrzeżeń. Czysto , wielkość pokoju odpowiednia , dodatkowo balkon. Personel sprawiał. wrażenie jakby miał jakiś układ z taksówkarzami. Na pytanie jak można dostać się. do muzeum dostaliśmy odpowiedź ,że taksówką podczas gdy 10 m od hotelu był autobus który zawoził prosto do muzeum. Na pytanie jak najlepiej dostać się na lotnisko Keflavik rownież padła odpowiedź ,że taksówką ( koszt 200 euro!) nie otrzymalismy informacji ,że spod hotelu jeździ. autobus. dużo tańszy , tylko należy go rezerwować 3 godz wczesniej. Pojawił sie. niepotrzebny stres związany z ta sytuacją
