Econo Lodge Inn & Suites Lugoff

You’re better off sleeping in your car. This hotel is getting very run down & you can constantly smell cigarettes and people in other rooms smoking weed, we witnessed a few questionable people hanging around the property, this place used to be a good place to stay, has gone downhill bad.

This is about a basic of a hotel as you’ll ever get. It’s starting to get run down and dated. Place didn’t seem particularly safe. Booked a suite, got bumped down to a 2 queen beds room. Since the queen rooms don’t come with a pullout couch like the suites do, we had to get a rollaway bed. But the room was so small that the rollaway bed blocked the door. This was a no smoking room, but the room stunk of cigarette smoke and had cigarette burn holes in the sheets. The bathroom was basically a closet that had been converted into a bathroom, hairs were still in the tub, tiles were cracked and broken, and overall just looked dirty. On the plus side, the free WiFi was quite fast. And the beds, while not particularly comfortable to me, were fine overall. But yes, this is every bit of a 1 to 2 star hotel. Don’t expect anything great and you won’t be disappointed.

The one good thing was it does sleep 5 people which is what we needed. However, the pool is closed, the grandchildren were soooo disappointed and we had to find something to do with them. So spending more money when we could have spent the day at the pool and bonded.Also, advertised two chairs at the table, but only had one. The sofa is very uncomfortable to sit on. Advertised 2 tv's but only has one. AC had a hard time cooling room down

If this hotel was $45 I would not be mad, but I expected more for $85. This is a cheap motel. Rooms are dirty and bathroom filthy. It looks dated. The breakfast is meager. They didn’t even have hot water for their oatmeal.

If you want to bring home cockroaches, this place is for you! We had planned on staying six nights, only stayed one. My husband felt too late to check out after a few hours because it was after midnight. Will not stay here ever again.

We were traveling to North Carolina and need to stop for the night. We took a chance on the Econo Lodge. The clerk was very nice and accommodating on the two rooms we needed. The rates were fair and he was able to give us a downstairs we requested. The rooms were really nice and clean.

Impressed with the cleanliness (no yucky carpet). Plenty of continental breakfast choices (cereals -hot and cold/ milk & OJ & coffee/ mini-muffins/ bagels/ butter & cream cheese/ waffles and syrup). Is that not enough? There's a Waffle House next door with all their choices. .

Hotel needs complete renovation. The bed was harder than chicken lips. Shower curtain stained, tub half painted. The noise from the pool, and the upstairs party kept us awake all night. We had traveled 800 miles and we’re exhausted. It was not my choice to stay here and BFF Is still apologizing.

We stayed here for 6 nights! The entire staff was helpful and friendly! The room was clean and comfortable! I loved all the hot water and the water pressure was excellent after driving for 12 hours! They were remodeling the motel and the new rooms looked beautiful with hardwood floors! It was quite! I would definitely stay here again!

Would give it zero stars if I could. Most obnoxious & ignorant desk clerk, outrageous pet fee EVEN IF YOUR PET DOESNT STAY IN THE ROOM! Burn holes all over nonsmoking room bedding. Looked like blood smeared on the drapes. WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!!! Money grubbing management, FILTHY MOTEL!
