"Hotel under construction. Was a very creepy place to pull into late at night by yourself."

Drove up at 11pm to a hotel entirely under construction. Lobby was unavailable and had to go through a side door to get to a make shift lobby. Not a good experience for a woman late at night. This should have been explained at booking and I never would have book it. Elevator wasn't working so had to lug my stuff up the stairs after an 8 hour car ride. Not impressed.

Save your money! My husband and I booked a room at this establishment. When we arrived, construction in progress, but we dealt with. The young man at the table took all the information from us that was needed for our stay. Dog friendly that’s a laugh! And apparently after more checking double the price that was on their site. We were quoted a Price with one dog, one night, two adults, and the discounts that were available to us. He was aware that this stay was because of myself having surgery the next day.(hotel next to the hospital, which we were told was a discount and reason for this stay) after all was said and done the amount showed up $50 higher than what we were told. I questioned that and was told it was for “incidentals” and would be refunded. We said OK and ran the card. I waited a week to see if the extra charges were going to be removed. To my surprise, they were not! Because I just had open-heart surgery. My husband called to get this straightened out. To no avail either with hotel or whoever they sent him to stating it was corporate, just kept saying that we were charged the correct amount and didn’t even try to make anything right. To me when you quote a person a fee and then tell them what it is going to be and what you’re going to be charged that is what you should be charging and not charging prices after you get the credit card. “I’m sorry there is nothing we can do for you,” does not work for me after adding charges fees and whatever they came up with and charged my card. you all need to be retrained on your services available and the service you actually provided. Be truthful about what you were charging for at the time of service, without adding extra fees that were not agreed-upon at the time of payment!! To not have a company try to make things right is disgusting. If I would’ve known the dishonesty in this hotel, I don’t care if I would’ve had to stay 10 miles away from the hospital, I would’ve chosen that one. This place was dishonest at check in and refused to try and make anything right! SAVE YOUR MONEY, plenty of other nicer places down the road!!

Could have notified me when making the reservation that the lobby was torn apart. When I mentioned this to staff, the shrugged and said, "Oh.... sorry." Not good.
