The Hotel Serene Glendale Peoria, Surestay Collection by Best Western

Room was very clean and spacious. Front desk was very accommodating.. Martha provided a fast and easy check in, also allowed me to check the room first to make sure it was suitable to my needs, which is what I do everywhere I check in.

Breakfasts were nice, location was good for our trip

TV didn't didn't work without a controller we had to borrow without permission during our visit (we left it there of course). There was a billing glitch that caused us to be double-billed (including the mandatory $100 damage deposit) on our debit card for a full week. Unexpected at a Best Western affiliate!

I liked the location it was close to where we wanted to go.

Floors were dirty. The managers said the kind of floors they are make it look dirty but I asked them to mop them while we were out for the day and re clean the room. The trash hasn’t been emptied before our stay under the sink. When we got back the room had been cleaned but not the floors. Getting out of the shower and going to put socks on the bottoms of our feet were almost black because of the floors. Also our water was not very hot except the first day. Used condom in our trash can when we got there.. but they weren’t able to switch rooms because of how booked it was and we didn’t have the money to get a new room.

The location, room was clean The breakfast was a good variety.

Front desk personnel was not so friendly. I was always the first to acknowledge them. The bed was not so comfortable and very squeaky.
