Hotel Colorado

It’s the iconic place to stay and expect the old nostalgic feel but the rooms are pretty dated and minimally equipped. You can pay an extra $15 a night for a refrigerator but rooms do have a kuerig coffee machine. LOVED the outside area, bar and restaurant! Best location with downtown just across the bridge.

I recently stayed at this hotel and I have to say, I was really impressed. Our room was spotless when we arrived, and it stayed that way the entire time we were there. The housekeeping staff did a fantastic job. One of the highlights for me was the outdoor patio. It had such a beautiful vibe, especially when the weather was nice. Just a heads up, though – it fills up pretty quickly, so if you’re planning to sit outside, make sure to get a reservation! Overall, our stay was really enjoyable, and I would definitely recommend this place.

Historical aspect

We visit Glenwood Springs every year and always stay at Hotel Colorado. The hotel has its own special feeling due to its history and age, the staff is great and the rooms are comfortable. The hotel is within walking distance of all the restaurants and hot springs. You can’t go wrong booking HC.

Very old property when you enter the room. The bathroom door knobs were broken and not working.

300-500 dollar a night with noisy AC windows ? seriously? All last time that I stayed - the entrance to the hot springs was included. Not worth the money anymore!!!

Loved the hotel and location. Glenwood springs pools are right across the street and an easy 5 minute walk. We chose Glenwood Springs over Iron Mountain because it felt very open and less like Welshly Arms! The peach cobbler in the hotel restaurant was to die for! We stayed in the double queen and there was no vanity in the bathroom. But other than that, it was a nice hotel in a great location

All was wonderful! The convenience to everything was perfect and the hotel itself was so unique and beautiful.

Really comfortable beds and pillows! Lovely courtyard. Helpful staff.
