Embassy Suites by Hilton Alexandria Old Town

The food was cooked to order. The kitchen was clean and well organized.

Everything was great.

I came to this hotel for Magfest 2026, this hotel is very clean and has an amazing staff. My wallet got trapped in a safe in the room so the maintenance crew came and got my wallet out thankfully. That alone shows how much they care about their hotel guests. The food is good too, I highly recommend the omelet creation bar. Would come here again for next Magfest.

This hotel was just fantastic for our 2-night stay in Old Town Alexandria. The location was perfect as it is right across the street from Amtrak, Metro as well as VRE to include the free shuttle Trolley that drives up and down King Street to the waterfront. All of the staff that we encountered to include, the front desk, housekeeping, breakfast area, Happy Hour area and management were great. The complimentary breakfast and dining area were very good with a made to order feature and the Happy Hour in the evening was very good as well. Our room was actually two rooms with a small living room and separate bedroom that was connected by a kitchen area with a microwave, refrigerator and counter with a sink. The room was spotless as well as very quiet even with the normal train activity across the street. The interior public space area was undergoing some renovations during the day but was handled very well and out of the way. All in all, a very pleasant stay and when we next visit Old Town this Embassy Suites will be our pick again.

The staff were so friendly. I liked that I could get free bottled water in the mornings when I started my day. I loved the evening snack hour. Loved the breakfast. The hotel was immaculate. It was an incredible location. Being able to hop on the metro and go into DC and back was a huge plus.
