Residence Ducale

Personale accogliente, residence molto tranquillo e situato in una zona comoda per raggiungere sia la spiaggia che il centro storico. Il pezzo forte della stanza è la splendida vista sul porto e la spiaggia.

It was the cheapest, but still not worth the price.

No staff, no lights in the hallways, the circuit breaker always flipped when using the hairdryer, room number on the key didn't match the actual room number, the bed was like sleeping on a hard floor. Overall disappointed.

The Residence Ducale is the perfect location for a long or short stay in Rodi Garganico! The free public beach is a five minute walk and the centro storico is about the same using nearby steps. There are many shops, cafes and food markets within easy walking distance from the room. The room was very clean, and a broom was provided for sweeping up sand after our beach trips. There was no balcony in our room, and we did not have a sea view, but we were able to use an adjacent terrace to hang clothes and sit outside. The kitchen was small, but efficient, having everything we needed to cook daily meals: silverware, pots and pans, a cutting board and knife, strainer, glassware, plates and a nice size fridge. Dish soap and sponge were also provided. I would recommend bringing a dishtowel! The bathroom was small, but clean, and light towels and toiletries were provided. The air conditioning was great and could be left on so the room stayed cool. The owner was very friendly and quickly responded to all of our messages. I would highly recommend a stay here if you are planning to cook your own meals!

After reading the listing, we thought we would have an attached balcony in our room, but did not. That was, however, remedied by the fact that we were able to use the terrace near our room. The bed was ok but not super comfortable. Although it wasn't a big deal for us, no one came to clean the room at all during our 9 day stay. We sent a message via Booking to have fresh towels and sheets brought to the room and they responded and delivered quickly. In all, our dislikes about this place were very minor:)
