Oak Bay Beach Hotel

The Oak Bay Beach Hotel was a recommendation from an acquaintance, and it's one we would share with others. The hotel has a lovely setting with great views. A walk out to the heated pool at 8 am is worth it for the view alone. Food was excellent, but perhaps the menu offerings don't always fit the location. Coming from the US, where wine is cheaper, we were a bit of a shock as to how much tax Canadians have to pay for a glass or bottle. The room was excellent, but did not have a view of the bay itself. You simply get outside and visit the pool for a view or take easy walks around the point and to the main shopping area. Would we go back? Yes!

Mineral pool was wonderful and can't beat the view! Great stay, just not long enough.

Overpriced! Staff didn't seem to know what was actually available in the eating/drinking places on the ground floor; we were sent in different directions by different staff. So we left and ate elsewhere!

Great location with a beautiful view. Very polite and welcoming staff. Lovely room. The best part was the heated mineral pool and the hot tubs. We had a great time and will definitely be visiting again.

We were upgraded to ocean view...it was amazing! We really enjoyed the mineral pool, and ate dinner at the restaurant. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Amazing stay!!!!
