SureStay Hotel by Best Western Seaside Monterey

There was a shooting across the street the first night of our stay. The heater didn’t work in 1 room and the other room filled with water near the heater & door while raining. All night the people upstairs sounded like they were moving furniture which let us up.

Meine Freundin war gestürzt und wollte an der Rezeption nach einem Pflaster fragen (es war vormittags). Nach mehrmaligem klingeln sind wir in einen Supermarkt gefahren um Pflaster zu kaufen

Frühstück war nicht besonders

There was not warm or hot water in the shower or sink. I was allowed to check 2 other available rooms for hot water. The other rooms had dents in the wall and the control was held together with tape, they also did not have hot water, the water was not even lukewarm. I did remind them that hot water at a certain temperature is required by the ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) and CA Health Codes. I contacted the property several times, I was not contacted back. I did file a report of the ADA violation and Health Code violation after not hearing back from the location. The creamer for the coffee was a pre opened packet that was taped shut with lots of powder spread out. I asked for reimbursement to go elsewhere and was told that was not possible.

Location and value

Brekky area so small and milk ran out and wasn’t checked in time we sat down for brekky. Upstairs guests were noisy steps and running around late at night
