The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island

I had the absolute pleasure of receiving a massage from Star, and it was truly one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment I walked in, she made me feel comfortable and at ease. Her energy is calm, grounded, and professional—just what you want in a massage therapist. Star has an incredible touch and a natural intuition for finding and relieving tension. She paid attention to every detail, checking in when needed and making sure the pressure was just right. I left feeling lighter, more relaxed, and completely renewed. If you’re looking for a skilled, thoughtful, and truly gifted masseuse—look no further. Star lives up to her name in every way.

Our stay at the Ritz on Amelia Island was truly amazing. Property was stunning. Staff were friendly and very very attentive. The cabanas were worth the money as pool gets very busy. Rooms very spacious and very clean. Spa was beautiful. Beach was spotless. My cons- we were a party of 11 and the restaurants for dinner makes you go off a pre-fixed menu. Which didn’t work for us as we had very different tastes and some allergies to contend with. So unfortunately we didn’t get to have dinner on property. Second was that everything closes so early (shops, coffee shop, restaurants). I would definitely return.

As a Marriott Titanium Elite member, I’ve stayed at countless properties around the world, but the The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island 4750 Amelia Island Parkway, hotel truly stood out in the best possible way. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. The staff here is on another level – friendly, attentive, and proactive. They didn’t just meet expectations; they anticipated needs. The manager even came by personally to ensure everything was going smoothly with my stay. That kind of attention to detail is rare and deeply appreciated. The room was immaculate and clearly newly renovated. Everything felt fresh, modern, and thoughtfully designed. All amenities were in perfect working order – from the silent, powerful air conditioning to the well-stocked mini-fridge and fast, reliable Wi-Fi. The bedding was incredibly soft and luxurious, making for one of the best nights of sleep I’ve had in a hotel. The room was also impressively quiet – I couldn’t hear a sound from the hallway or neighboring rooms. I highly recommend this hotel for both business and leisure travelers. 10/10 on almost everything. Located right on the beach at Amelia Island, it has been awarded one of the best properties worldwide by Fortune and rightly so. From the attentive service to the resort amenities, everything reflects comfort & luxury. You don’t need to leave the resort during your stay for anything. They have every facility available for you right here- From biking, boogie boarding, relaxing on the beach on laid out beach chairs, indulging in their luxury spa, eating at some of the finest restaurants or nature walking along with the many turtles on their property. It’s all in there. The 4th of July fireworks were simply amazing.

For the price, there were some frustrations that could have been preventable. I had a back to back reservation and it took 4 trips to the front desk to be able to get room keys for the duration of our 2 night stay. The hotel also added sham charges for a refrigerator even though one was never requested nor provided.

We visited at the end of June as a couple with our dog, and found both the temperature and crowd levels to be very comfortable. Our room met all expectations, and the hospitality throughout the property had a premier feel—warm, effortless, and accommodating. Dinner options were excellent across the board. The sushi at the bar was outstanding, and meals at Oceana—both breakfast and dinner—became something we genuinely looked forward to. The Grill served perfectly fine fare, though the lunch offerings at the pool restaurant were underwhelming by comparison. Service at every dining venue was exceptional—friendly, attentive, and sincerely dog-welcoming, which made a big difference in our stay. The beach is beautiful, accessible via a short walk over natural dunes. The sand was pristine and the water pleasant. The poolside seating area was nice as well, though the pool itself could use a refresh—it felt a bit dated compared to the rest of the resort. All in all, this is a property that balances refined hospitality with just the right amount of natural setting, and it makes traveling with a dog feel entirely seamless.

We had our family photos taken down by the water by Caleb and they turned out beautifully! The hotel made booking the session easy and meeting up with Caleb was he's using. Caleb was a real pro with our two kids aged 8 and 6. He was efficient and quick and produced some beautiful pics of us that we will enjoy for years! I highly recommend this service at the hotel!
