Gasthof Wimbachklamm

Gut gelegener Gasthof mit guter Verkehrsanbindung und angeschlossenem Restaurant.

Die Zimmer und alles rundum ist wirklich hier und da in die Jahre gekommen. Das Frühstück war ok, aber sehr einfach. Und auch ein bisschen kompliziert mit vorab bestellen. Da gibt es sicherlich bessere Alternativen zum Frühstücksbuffet. Preis-Leistung passt noch gerade so.

Location: At the Wimbach Brucke: Lots of parking. 20 minutes walk to Ramsau itself. - Perfect for walks in the Wimbach valley Breakfast: order the night before: A reasonable selection, including eggs. Not a buffet, but served quickly. Room: with balcony (not much of a view), comfortable beds, adequate storage, small bathroom. Note; No a/c. Staff: very helpful, we ate dinner every evening in their dining room or terrace

We stayed at this hotel for three nights, and it far exceeded our expectations. The hotel was very clean and quiet, with comfortable beds that gave us a great night's sleep. Breakfast was simple but satisfying, and for dinner, we enjoyed delicious meals at the hotel restaurant every night. The schnitzel, potato dishes, and apple strudel were my favorites. The staff were polite and welcoming, especially the man who seemed to be the owner, who made us feel at home. The location is perfect for hiking, with beautiful trails nearby. Overall, a fantastic stay—we would definitely return!

The food and service were consistently excellent. The establishment was the most efficiently run place I've ever visited. Very impressive.

Having to pre-select and order the size and type of breakfast items the day before is very efficient but not always optimum for the customer

There isn’t anything really.

When we reached there, the resorption instead of saying welcome ,told us quickly : you must pay spa services 3.2 euro per person per day. We were so tired and when we faced with his weird behavior and request, I was totally anxious. Because I hadn’t seen before anything about this cost in hotel descriptions. Then I argued with him but he was angry and as I was tired and needed the room keys , I just said ok. That was so terrible experience. I have never seen such an impolite reception before. And plus they didn’t have buffet for breakfast and they had a list and we had to choose our breakfast from the list before night for morning and the breakfast was basic without fruits and so on. I will never go there and don’t recommend it.

Nothing much. A simple private house given as bnb.

They don’t know how to behave with guests. There was no waste bin in the room. Some paper and tags were left in the room. For that this man started scolding me during checkout. If you want to pay money and get insulted you can book the property. Such a bad experience I never had in any of the bnb property I have stayed. The scolding seemed to me to be threatening as if I have committed some crime. They don’t know anything about hospitality and should undergo some training before they can rent out their property.

The location is so perfect as it is close to the bus station and it is in the middle of the other tourist attractions. The hosts were amazing and very accommodating! Thank you for the delicious food! 🤍
