Definitely coming back. The views and ocean waves are beautiful. Staff was very helpful

Great location, right on the beach and next to the boardwalk.

Location is amazing. Right on the water with fabulous views of the ocean from the guest rooms and from our meeting room. Hotel was clean and service was top rate. Food was very good for our meetings. Some external noise, but not the fault of the property. Street work was being done.

Dream Inn Santa Cruz was our 5 star Dream stay until our privacy was invaded by a drone with camera pointing into our room 418 (top floor of hotel wing by pool) the drone was just outside our glass balcony while my wife and I were undressed in the room, I got dressed, and from my balcony verbally confronted the person controlling drone from hotel pool/bar deck below, person left pool area before i could document with my camera, I went to front Desk to report description etc, I felt as if Desk person was uninterested in finding out who it was, asking questions or in preventing this happeng again to another, instead just offered to waive my Valet parking for my inconvenience (I did not ask for anything but safe private environment) the pool deck area is a key card only environment and that was the sole person visible & easy to discover who it was. For an otherwise wonderful stay and great food the last few hours was ruined by feeling violated and our safety & privacy of us or others did not seem to be a priority, of the property.

We have stayed many times at the Dream Inn. It is located on the beach and in walking distance to the wharf and boardwalk. Many shops and restaurants nearby and downtown is a 10-15 min walk. Every room has a beautiful view of the ocean! The hotel staff as well as the onsite restaurant/bar staff are friendly and helpful! Highly reccomend.

Great location and fairly easy to get to places; however, there are challenges for those in a wheelchair. The room we had was called ADA; however, the entry door to the room was extremely heavy and very difficult to open if you are in a wheelchair and even with someone pushing the wheelchair. The balconies or patios are excellent and the view is outstanding, but they need to work on truly making it accessible for all, for the rooms and restaurant building doors.

Incredible location, attentiveness, and attitude! The views this time of year were stunning and the Special Packages online were a great bundle deal to help curate your Santa Cruz experience.
