Wyndham Garden Düsseldorf City Centre Königsallee

This room was by far the smallest room we have stayed at in Germany. I understand it is Europe, but we have seen much bigger standard rooms here. There were stains on the sink along with mold in our refrigerator, so let's just say the hotel cleanliness isn't up to par. The breakfast tasted mediocre and it needed a better/bigger selection. Staff were mostly friendly, however, I don't think we would stay here again.

Great hotel, centrally located in Duesseldorf. In walking distance to the old town. Friendly staff, clean rooms and nice breakfast. Would always go back to this hotel if in Duesseldorf.

Great stay! This hotel is close to train station and main shopping area. Very clean hotel and good staff.

This hotel is close to train station (10 min. Walk) If you stay at this hotel during hot summer months you will have to open your windows during the night because the a/c is not very effective. I recommend this hotel for the location (close to shops,restaurants and bars) . I certainly come again.

Rooms were clea and you got free drinks in the mini bar which was a nice touch. Only issues we had was that our room on the ground floor was right by where the cleaners were going into the hotel which woke us up from 6.45am. Also the room was very warm and because we were on the ground floor couldn't open the windows apart from the top window.

My experience was overall a pleasant one. The hotel staff seemed to take pride in their work as each day the room was cleaned very well and all used items in the room were restocked. Marie at the front desk was fantastic and made heroic efforts to satisfy and please disappointed and angry customers. Customers were angry because like in previous reviews I have read of this hotel, the air conditioning in their rooms did not work. The air conditioning in my room did not work either. Marie, though she tried to compensate the guest for their disappointment could do nothing to fix this. The air conditioning being broken was not in itself a tragedy to me. I come from a warmer climate than Dusseldorf and found the ambient temperature of the city quite pleasant, I merely opened the windows and the room cooled down pleasantly. Getting rest however became a challenge. With the windows opened all the noise of the city comes stampeding into the room. The trams going by on Corneliusstrasse; the emergency services screaming by; cars with loud tailpipes going by at 1am; the group of men singing their way home at 3am, all of these items combined made getting any rest a challenge. Other issues I was having: No currency exchange as advertised, I needed it. If early check-in was available I was not aware of it and could have used it. No concierge that I was aware of, but Marie was very helpful in helping us find good places to visit. No restaurant on site. There are many close by.

One woman working the front counter was very ignorant and rude when I requested a new room key, as it was not working and had to be re-programmed for the third time in a single day.

Very good hotel for a short stay in Düsseldorf. Close to Königsallee and Altstadt

Staff was nice but not knowledgeable so therefore not very helpful. Smoky rooms even on no smoking floors. Internet popped on and off.

Very mediocre
