"Going Downhill"

We have to disagree that this hotel is Number 2 in Lafayette. Maybe back when it was newer, but now itโ€™s showing its age badly. Our digital key card didnโ€™t work on several doors (including the door to the elevator), their daily evening reception is now only on Wednesdays, the pool was uncovered and the water was green and unsightly (in April), the breakfast was only so-so, and the rooms themselves are definitely showing wear and tear. For example, paint on baseboards smeared onto walls above and tacky calking around the tub. Weโ€™ve stayed here several times over the years, but next time weโ€™ll go elsewhere.

"Everything you need"

The hotel was a great location as it was easy on an easy off of the highway. There were also several areas to eat within walking distance. The price was very fair, and the overall cleanliness of the property was great. I highly recommend this place.

Unique layout (appear to have been apartments in a previous life). Parking is limited around the building. Full length mirror would be nice. Shower/bath needs upgrade. Would be good to have sheers vs curtains only.

Loved the breakfast - the staff on the property was great. The housekeeping staff did not seem to be doing their job. Our room when we went up to the room was open. The front desk brought us to another room and the cushions on the couch we not in place. And when we went down for breakfast the house keeping team member was on her phone with ear buds talking a mile a minute. When we got back from breakfast she was still on the phone. It's hard to pay attention and do your job when you are having an in-depth conversation with someone else. Maybe that's why they are missing details on cleaning the room.
