We wanted to thank Sukey personally, as she made what was always going to be a difficult process much easier for us. The food went down well, enjoyed, and delivered without the usual coloured bread, which was appreciated The only feedback people mentioned was that the room being set up classroom-style rather than with smaller round tables made it a little difficult for people to circulate, talk, and access the food easily. We managed to make it work by encouraging people to move around and help each other, but I thought it was worth mentioning as something to consider for future events where the main objective is conversation and interaction. I’m assuming the room may have been arranged that way because of the screen, and perhaps it looked as though we were planning a presentation. In reality, the screen was just intended as background content to help prompt conversation rather than being the focus of the event. Overall, the event went as well as it possibly could given the circumstances. People commented that the background photos and the packs of photographs placed on tables worked well in helping people start conversations. Based on Sukey’s assistance and support throughout, we would absolutely recommend the hotel for future event

The building is stunning. It takes my breath away every time I drive down the long drive towards the front of the hotel. It is also stepped in history which fascinates me. It is a perfect location for a getaway.

Big and spacious nice garden

We had a brilliant deal. We enjoyed our dinner and breakfast. We thought the drinks were lovely in the evening. Even though celebrations were going on we were not disturbed and had a good night’s sleep. The room was beautifully clean and we appreciated the rituals toiletries in the bathroom. We thought the service was great and friendly too. There is a little corporate feeling ( it is a big hotel) but the building is beautiful and historic and the view from the terrace was lovely.

Highly recommend this hotel. 2 day event for 70 people mixed with business meetings, outdoor teambuilding activities, bbq and formal dinner. Kate White and her team, Michelle and Matt looked after us amazingly. Lots of last minute changes dealt with very professionally. Thank you for making my job easier.
