Full bed too small, rm 1498 was very very warm, in December, had to prop open the Bathroom window to reduce the temperature to reasonable level, the. Window unit was unable to do so.

The location was excellent. The room and hotel was clean and in good shape.

Room 1307 was exceptionally small - closet size. It had a double bed and it was up against the wall on one side and the headboard. So access was only from one side and the foot of the bed. The wall that the bed was up against had a wall mount heater/air-conditioner. It was jet engine load and woke us up when it would toggle on. The small bathroom was all tile and had no heating vent, but it did have a big windows. It was freezing! When we booked we thought we were staying at the main hotel, but no, this hotel was the Maryland on Main street. No staff on site. No parking. Just a huge hassle trying to get luggage loaded in and out. On Friday morning it took an hour for the valet to arrive with the car. After the first day, we found a parking garage as the 7 minute walk was better than an hour wait. There is zero customer support or amenities associated with this hotel. When I complained about the room size the staff said, so sorry, but did nothing to fix the problem. Looking at the emergency checkout chart, the room we were given was the smallest in the hotel. This room should not be rented. I have stayed in bigger births on boats.

In the heart of Annapolis. Beautifully kept up historic building!

Very nice and historic hotel in the heart of Annapolis. The rooms are very well appointed as well as the common areas.

The very attractive facade is mired by some significant quality inconsistencies that should not occur with an "elite hotel". If you want to drink that $12 bottle of water they offer in the room, you'll be forced to drink it with a cheap plastic cup like you'd find at a Super 8 motel. It was surprising that no glasses are in the room of any variety. This lower quality consistency followed through with no tire coffee mugs and an imitation Keurig. Further, the fixtures in the bathroom (shower) were coming out of their fasteners and the shower was plumbed backwards.

Location, service, and cleanliness.

No place to put our luggage. One or more luggage racks would be an inexpensive improvement.
